Ron Martens – Retirement

Category Announcements

It is with warm wishes and full hearts that we announce the retirement of our Founding Principal, Ron Martens, on August 1, 2021. For more than 35 years, Ron has perfected his building design/site planning and client management skills to become one of the most well-respected business professionals in BC’s Fraser Valley.

Ron’s departure marks the end of an era for Keystone Architecture. As our Founding Principal over 30 years ago, he was a driving force to establishing Keystone Architecture. From our humble beginnings as a small design office in Abbotsford, he helped us achieve success through the design and development of churches, faith-based facilities, and recreational camps, which quickly emerged into a portfolio of unique ventures including multi-residential communities, retirement communities, industrial projects, and more.

Many of the company’s accomplishments would not have been possible without his hard work, dedication, and commitment to developing relationships within the community and projects that surpass our clients’ expectations. We are indebted to his vision and commitment to propelling us to our present position in the industry.

Ron said he doesn’t anticipate being bored in retirement, with plans to spend more time on his personal passions including restoring cars, overseas missions, and spending much more time with his beloved family.

Although we are sad to see him go and will miss the positive impact he had on our team, we wish him happiness and a more leisurely pace of life spending time with family, friends, and enjoying great coffee!
