Keystone Architecture Builds on Strong Leadership with Promotion of Two Principals

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Andressa Linhares and Keesa Hutchinson to Principals at Keystone Architecture—an important milestone as we continue to build on our already strong and experienced leadership team.
For over 35 years, Keystone has been known for leadership grounded in deep technical knowledge, thoughtful design, and collaborative client partnerships. The addition of Andressa and Keesa to our Principal team enhances this foundation, bringing added strength and a fresh perspective to the firm as we continue to serve clients across Alberta and British Columbia.
Andressa and Keesa’s ability to guide complex projects while upholding design integrity and technical excellence has long earned the trust of clients, staff, and industry partners.

Based in our Abbotsford office, Andressa has been a valued team member for nearly a decade. With a multidisciplinary background that spans architecture, interior design, urban design, and urban planning, she brings a unique and well-rounded perspective to every project.
Andressa delivers imaginative, technically sound solutions across various projects. Her deep understanding of how design decisions impact construction has driven project success. Today, she leads Keystone’s efforts in design quality control, ensuring that design intent is maintained and expertly executed throughout every stage of the process.
Andressa is a registered AIBC Architect, a registered IDIBC Interior Designer, and holds an MBA from Pfeiffer University (NC, USA). Her blend of business strategy and design acumen makes her a powerful asset to the team and clients alike.

Keesa, a second-generation architect based in Calgary, brings over 25 years of experience designing community-focused spaces that foster connection and belonging. Her portfolio includes multi-family, libraries, recreation centres, cultural buildings, schools, and housing for individuals with special needs.
Keesa is an exceptional project leader, communicator, and energetic collaborator who motivates teams and plays an indispensable role in nurturing strong relationships with our valued Alberta clients.
As part of her extensive experience, Keesa served as President of the Alberta Association of Architects for two years and spent the previous six years on its Council. She currently represents Alberta as a Director for ROAC (Regulatory Organizations of Architecture in Canada) and is a part-time architectural instructor at Athabasca University. She was also recently inducted as a Fellow into the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada’s College.
“This is an exciting part of the evolution of a leadership team that is already deep in experience and capability,” said Eric Poxleitner, Senior Principal. “Keystone has always believed in building leadership from within and fostering diversity across the practice. With Andressa and Keesa, we are continuing that tradition—and further strengthening the team that delivers value to our clients daily.”
Keystone’s Principal team now includes Eric Poxleitner, Lukas Wykpis, Steven Bartok, Andressa Linhares, and Keesa Hutchinson—supported by an 80-person team dedicated to delivering community-enriching and distinctive, client-focused designs.
As our practice grows across Western Canada, we look forward to shaping the future with leadership that reflects the strength, integrity, and collaborative spirit that has defined us for over three decades.
